Play the Golf Course in Photorealistic Detail

RED-i is assisting golf course developers and architects to create fully playable digital golf courses in photorealistic detail before any construction has commenced. Using a combination of GIS, CAD, 3D modeling software and gaming engines, the course is integrated with the actual natural environment at an accuracy level true to the design information received from the design team/architects.

The course could also be used for video productions, websites, walk-through’s, print media & other marketing applications, and can eventually be a commercial product that can be sold to interested golfers or other parties. In many cases existing estates and courses are recreated digitally using CGI for presentation purposes and to inform discussions around further development and/or redesign.

Integration of Architecture

RED-i’s simulation capabilities extend beyond golf courses, and include detailed environmental and architectural simulation showing how the natural environment will be impacted, including before/after simulations as well as the integration of architecture and other structures. One of the most challenging areas within the modeling, simulation and pre-visualisation field is replicating the interface between nauture and man-made structures within a digital environment. To this end RED-i utilises 3D modeling technologies from various disciplines and co-opts numerous specialists in order to ensure the most accurate and lifelike representations of property developments, even whilst still in planning phase.
